ALFALFA HAY - MEDICAGO SATIVA
Alfalfa is a legume crop belonging to the same family as clover. It’s commonly used as a nutritional feed for cattle, horses, and camels and is grown in different parts of the world. The plant has round leaves when young and elongated leaves when mature, with clusters of small purple flowers and fruits containing 10-20 seeds. Alfalfa has been cultivated as a feed crop since ancient Greek and Roman times.
